Bio

In 1997 Mike Diamond had nothing but $300, some cigarettes, a suitcase, his Gibson guitar and the dream of doing it all finding himself on the move from Perth (AUS) to Miami. Before his move here, luck had stricken Mike when a customer at a store handed him a green card lottery ticket and found his move to Miami quick and easy.

At the beginning, Mike had landed a production deal with a producer (who would later turn his back) and lived in a small apartment. Luck had come back to Mike when Dave Sarner from Chaos NYC opened a club in South Beach and hired Mike Diamond in the Summer of 1998 to change his life forever. Soon after being hired as the doorman of an upscale Miami club, Mike landed a role on the sitcom “The Grapevine”, playing Tom the musician directed by Dave Frankel. This would soon land him a record deal with 2 Tribe Records shifting his weight up north to NYC in the summer of 2000.

Mike was a studio musician in NYC working and recording with Lenny Kravitz and more balancing creative operations with nightclubs finding his way to a guest role on Sex and The City playing the doorman at Bungalow 8. After his move, Mike opened Dorsia in 2003. At Dorsia, Mike Diamond hosted and brought in events with Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones, Cameron Diaz, and Leonardo DiCaprio amongst others.

This however, was not the end of his acting nor club career. Mike went on to open Snitch further leading his acting career to a VH1 show opening for Papa Roach, Scot Ian, Cypress Hill, Frankie Bello and doing photo shoots with the likes of the sultry Tera Patrick and scenes on Access Hollywood.
